Compassion Mobile App

Helping more donors connect with children in need by bridging digital and physical worlds.

Compassion International, works to release children from poverty so they can thrive.

They partner with local churches in 29 countries to provide holistic care, including spiritual, economic, social, and physcial support to over two million babies, children, and young adults. Founded in 1952, Compassion is dedicated to helping children in need through child sponsorship and other intiatities.

Problem

Adapting to a digital world, Compassion wanted better ways to connect with donors and seamlessly blend digital and physical experiences at live events.

Solution

Our goal was to seamlessly bridge the digital and physical experience for donors at live events. We designed an app experience that made sponsor-child matching more meaningful, streamlined the checkout process, elevated the visual design to meet modern expectations, and maintained the excitement and momentum of the live event.

Outcome

  • Improved ease of use
  • Highest digital response rate
  • Increased child sponsorhips

Role

As the UX Designer, I drove the creation of the user flows, wireframes, testing, and visual design.
