Principal Financial Group is a Fortune 500 company helping people make financial progress.
They offer a wide range of financial products and services, including retirement planning, insurance (life, disability, group benefits), and asset management services.
Problem
Most users expect quick, easy access to their Principal investment and insurance accounts, but the existing mobile app lacked the speed, modern design, and intuitive navigation they’ve come to expect.
Solution
I led efforts to reimagine the end-to-end app experience to better meet user needs and set the foundation for the evolution of the app. Our team focused on modernizing with a flexible design system, standardizing navigation, and elevating visual appeal.
