Veridian Website

Designing a personalized marketing website that puts users’ banking needs front and center.

Veridian Credit Union is a financial coop dedicated to helping members achieve financial success in every stage of life.

They offer a wide range of financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts, various loan options (auto, home equity, mortgages, personal and student loans), credit cards, financial education, and digital banking.

Problem

Most users come to their financial institution’s website for digital banking, but are met with clunky interfaces and static content that don’t keep pace with their changing financial needs.

Solution

I designed a personalized marketing website that put users’ banking needs front and center. I prioritized quick access to account snapshots for authenticated users, tailored content to reflect individual financial needs and life stages, and elevated the visual design to align with modern expectations while staying true to Veridian’s brand.

Outcome

  • Improved ease of use
  • Positive market disruption
  • Created opportunities to expand personalization as AI capabilities evolve

Role

For this passion project, I drove the creation of the user flows, wireframes, and visual design.

Account snapshot

This concept brings digital banking right where a user might expect—appearing the second after they hit “search” for their financial institution. And not to mention, skipping the hurdles of the login button if they’re already an authenticated user and looking for a quick snapshot of their preferred accounts.

Personalized content

Users financial needs might vary from season to season. This concept populates relevant content to users based on their life-stage, website history, and spending habits.

For example, if a user is getting ready to purchase a house, mortgage rates and home-buying resources would populate on their interface.

Looking to delight, inspire, and engage your users?

As a User Experience Designer, I prioritize empathy, curiosity, ideation, and testing in order to create innovative, great-looking products that people love to use.
